I thoroughly enjoyed this discussion, as much for the content as the wonderful dynamic between the two of you. I sense that there’s a kind of shared psychological mindedness at play between you as you discuss that very idea, making for a multi-layered listening experience. I’d also say that it takes some courage to do this–to launch into an unscripted discussion about the fuzziness around psychological constructs, on a public forum…and right before dinner time! Bravo. And thank you both.

Chris you caught some interesting aspects that I am so used to that I didn’t notice them until I read your comments. I am glad you enjoyed our conversation. For sure, a shared psychological mindedness is often at work, and was that day. I am used to talking to Heesoon and people I know well in this way. I have the view that everyone longs for openness and honesty in their conversations, and that is certainly what I hope to bring to people in my work and in this sharing for those watching our conversation. Unscripted is essential for me, as the spontaneity/authenticity is what brings the connection to life.
I believe that the psychology of each person and each situation is very important to the understanding and hoped for clarity.
